Yes! Yes, the same girl you encounter as a daughter, sister, mother, wife, or friend ( and undoubtedly many more). So, a few months back, we had women's day (or a day for hypocrites to show their talent). That day, social media accounts dictated how you mask your misogynistic view by a pretense that all are equal. She is a goddess in your Books, WhatsApp statuses, Instagram posts, Facebook stories. But coming out of this fake world, you'll find a completely different story, a kingdom that is not "Ram Rajya"(may be you don't know what Ram Raiya is!). Only females shrieking against the torment: of female foeticide (you don't know? they were a burden for their family), for equal rights (they can't work as it diminishes family's honor), dowry deaths (they married your daughter and you can't even give dowry), rape ( why you were there? Weren't you smiling while speaking and your dress? Oh my God! And then blaming those innocent young men) and acid attack (your beauty was irresistible, they were not wrong?). You know, you're at the correct place, "goddess of the house" these so-called feminists and west culture is impacting you. You were meant to be at home being a passive citizen.
Feminism is futile, unnecessary in an age that has ushered in equal pay for women, gender parity in politics, and a string quartet of misogyny in popular culture (staccato and subordinate, of course). We must have gratitude for present affairs. How dare we ask for more, when the fruits men have given us shall be abundant, thus curbing our “nagging" tongues.
